Hello and Welcome!
I am a Holistic, solution-focused psychotherapist based in New York City. I practice through a social justice, trauma-informed, fat liberationist, and Health at Every Size (HAES)® lens. I create a therapeutic space that is grounded in empathy, collaboration, healing, and insight. A session with me will feel supportive and challenging — I will gently encourage you to embrace discomfort in order to move beyond the surface and find what lies beneath. From there, we will work as a team to process and heal what comes up.
I believe therapy to be the brave and valiant effort to commit to your wellness and healing. It is my pleasure and honor to accompany you on exactly that mission.

I do not subscribe to a "one-size-fits-all" approach. While I am trained in several modalities and interventions, I hold first and foremost that each individual is exactly that: an individual. I tailor your care accordingly to create a personalized therapeutic style that feels best for you.
While validation is key to the therapy space, this is only one part of how I approach your care. You will also be challenged and empowered in order to un-learn the things that hold you back and learn something new to propel you forward.
